In this role, you will:

  • Build and strengthen strategic relationships with key clients and stakeholders, including councils, asset owners and other infrastructure partners.
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities to expand AECOM's stormwater presence and market share.
  • Serve as an advocate for the business, contributing to business development, client engagement, and pursuit activities.
  • Mentor and develop engineers and technical professionals, helping to build capability and foster career growth within the Auckland team.
  • Collaborate with modelling, design, and multidisciplinary teams across New Zealand and globally to deliver integrated water solutions.
  • Support technical excellence, project performance, risk management, and commercial outcomes across the water business.

  • Strong New Zealand stormwater experience, with a sound understanding of local regulatory frameworks, industry standards, and consenting requirements.
  • Established relationships with key public and private sector clients across the New Zealand market.
  • Experience leading project delivery teams and providing technical leadership on complex infrastructure projects.
  • Proven ability to mentor, coach and develop junior and intermediate engineers.
  • Strong business development and client relationship management skills, with experience identifying and securing new opportunities.
