The Modern Educational Complex named in Honour of Heydar Aliyev Is actively seeking to appoint the right candidates for the following positions: English Language Develompment Teachers (Full-Time)
Contract Duration:
- Position 1: Academic Year Position (contract until the end of August).
- Position 2: Maternity Leave Cover (contract ends in late February).

Stream: International (Cambridge) Application Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in English, TESOL, Applied Linguistics or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Recognized teaching qualifications (PGCE, CELTA, QTS are advantage)
- Experience teaching English Language Development/EAL/ESL students in an international school setting
- Strong understanding of language acquisition and differentiated instruction for multilingual learners
- Excellent English communication and classroom management skills
- Commitment to inclusive, student-centred, and evidence-based teaching practices
Main responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality ELD lessons for primary and/or secondary students
- Assess students’ English proficiency and monitor their progress using appropriate assessment tools.
- Develop individualized language support strategies to meet diverse learner needs
- Maintain accurate assessment records and contribute to the school’s ELD programme development.
- Collaborate with subject teachers
