Original job description
Your RoleYou think ahead. You keep the big picture in sight. You keep our production moving.
At Factor_, fast decisions, high production volumes, and many moving parts come together. As a Production Planner (all genders), you turn all of this into a plan that works – today, tomorrow, and throughout the week ahead.
You manage our daily and weekly production planning, keeping capacity, resources, and production targets in view and responding quickly when things change. You work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and other teams to find pragmatic solutions before small deviations turn into bigger problems.
If you enjoy working with data, quickly getting to the heart of complex situations, and improving things rather than simply letting them run as they are, you’ll feel right at home here.
What You’ll DoYou turn requirements into a plan that works.
You create and manage daily and weekly production plans, ensuring that capacity, resources, and schedules are optimally aligned with our production targets.
You keep an eye on what’s happening on the ground.
You monitor production progress and identify deviations from the plan early. Rather than waiting for issues to escalate, you recommend adjustments and help get production back on track.
You bring teams together.
You work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and other teams on site, communicate planning changes, and help resolve scheduling and capacity conflicts quickly and pragmatically.
You turn data into decisions.
You analyze planning data and relevant KPIs, identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and use your insights to continuously make our planning more accurate and efficient.
You keep our data reliable.
You ensure that planning data and records are accurate and up to date, supporting the quality and integrity of our planning systems.
You’re always looking for ways to do things better.
Continuous improvement is more than just a buzzword to you. You actively contribute to improvement initiatives and work with others to develop solutions to operational and planning challenges.
You’re analytical.
You enjoy working with numbers, spotting connections, and using data to make sound decisions and solve problems.
You’re proactive.
You don’t wait for problems to come to you. You identify them early, address them, and find solutions.
You know production planning.
You bring 2–4 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, supply chain, or a related field. Experience in manufacturing or food production is a plus.
You stay flexible.
Our environment moves fast, and priorities can change at short notice. You stay focused, keep the overview, and know how to prioritize what matters most.
You enjoy working with others.
You communicate clearly, keep relevant stakeholders informed, and enjoy working across teams and functions.
You’re comfortable with tools.
Experience with ERP systems, spreadsheets, or planning tools is a plus.
You speak English.
Good English skills are required. German language skills are a plus.
You’re flexible when it matters.
Depending on operational needs, you’re willing to occasionally work nights or weekends.
At Factor_, you’re not just creating a production plan – you’re making a visible impact.
We work in a dynamic environment where things move quickly and good ideas don’t have to pass through five layers of hierarchy. You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership, work closely with different teams, and make our operations a little better every day.
Above all, we’re looking for people who want to make Factor_ better. We value diverse experiences and believe there are many different ways to develop your skills. So, if you don’t meet every single criterion but believe you can make a difference in this role, we’d love to hear from you.
What We Offer-
