Bilgewater Group is a Chicago-based diversified services company founded in 2003. We operate across two core divisions: food service and care.

Our food service division manages a network of quick-service and counter-service locations across the greater Chicagoland area, serving thousands of customers every day at high-traffic venues, including commercial districts, transit hubs, and retail centers.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an Inventory Clerk to help maintain accurate inventory records and support day-to-day inventory administration. You will update inventory information, review records, track changes, and coordinate with internal teams to help ensure locations have the information and supplies they need.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Enter, update, and maintain inventory information in spreadsheets and internal systems

  • Review inventory records and identify missing or inconsistent information

  • Track inventory changes, orders, and related documentation

  • Assist with inventory reconciliation and record updates

  • Communicate with internal teams regarding inventory questions or discrepancies

  • Maintain organized digital inventory records

  • Support routine inventory and administrative tasks

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Previous experience in inventory, data entry, administration, operations, or a similar role

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets and digital systems

  • Good organization and record-keeping skills

  • Ability to work with repetitive tasks and maintain consistency

  • Good communication and follow-up skills

  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment

  • Reliable internet connection and workspace

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

NICE TO HAVE

  • Previous inventory or stock control experience

  • Experience with Excel or Google Sheets

  • Experience with inventory, order management, or ERP systems

  • Background in food service, retail, hospitality, or distribution

COMPENSATION

$18–$24 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
