Original job description
Enterprise Strategist — StemWave
Boston, MA · Full-time, in office · Reports to Director of Strategic Growth · Enterprise & Strategic Growth
About StemWave
StemWave is a non-invasive regenerative medical device company reshaping healthcare alongside our provider partners. Our technology helps people live pain-free by activating the body’s natural healing process, without drugs or surgery. We’re a ~100-person company scaling fast, and our enterprise and franchise partners are scaling with us.
The opportunity
This role sits within our sales organization and exists to make sure our franchise and enterprise clients see a measurable return on their StemWave investment. Marketing is the core of the job. You’ll use patient acquisition expertise, campaign performance and conversion data to shape account strategy, improve client ROI and drive enterprise sales results.
You’ll write the campaigns, read the numbers, and lead the client conversations about what’s working and what needs to change. You’ll partner closely with Alexi Iafrato, our Director of Strategic Growth, and the closers on our sales team to tie each client’s marketing to their financial goals.
If you’re an exceptional direct-response copywriter who also loves digging into funnel data, and you’re confident running a room, this role is for you.
What you’ll do
Own enterprise marketing strategy
Build marketing plans aligned with each account’s goals, patient demographics, location structure, staffing and operational capacity.
Adapt campaigns to individual markets while keeping brand standards and approved messaging consistent.
Spot marketing gaps early and recommend specific actions to improve results.
Develop repeatable campaigns and processes that scale across locations.
Write and direct conversion-focused campaigns
Write compelling copy for paid social ads, emails, text messages, landing pages, patient education and reactivation campaigns.
Develop clear offers, messaging and calls to action that move patients from awareness to inquiry to a booked appointment.
Write briefs and give direction for graphics, video and other campaign assets.
Coordinate campaign setup, approvals, launch and optimization with internal teams and client contacts.
Keep patient-facing messaging within approved clinical claims, and route materials for clinical or compliance review when needed.
Analyze performance and improve the patient acquisition funnel
Monitor campaign performance at both the account and location level.
Evaluate lead quality, cost per lead, booking rates, cost per booked appointment, show rates and downstream treatment conversion, in partnership with Alexi and the sales team.
Tell marketing problems apart from scheduling, lead follow-up, staffing or clinical conversion problems.
Test improvements to audiences, messaging, offers, creative, landing pages and follow-up sequences.
Track whether changes improve results, and use what you learn to guide future campaigns.
Lead client marketing meetings
Own meeting prep, agendas, recommendations and follow-through.
Explain results clearly and help clients understand what needs to change and why.
Set expectations, assign responsibilities, and hold client teams accountable for their marketing dependencies.
Feed marketing results into the broader account success plan, with recommendations tied to client ROI and financial goals.
Manage execution across multiple accounts
Keep visibility into campaign calendars, deliverables, approvals, deadlines and location-specific needs.
Coordinate with B2C Marketing, Brand, Operations and client stakeholders.
Confirm work is complete and functioning before closing an action item.
Escalate issues with the relevant facts, work already done, available options, a recommendation and the specific decision needed.
Who you are
A conversion copywriter first. You write ads, emails, texts and landing pages that get people to act, especially for services that require education and trust.
Data-driven. You can read a funnel, find the likely cause of underperformance, and recommend a practical fix.
Confident in front of clients. You lead meetings, explain your recommendations, set expectations and hold people accountable.
An owner. You find the gap, pull in the people needed to fix it, and follow through until the change is live and its results are reviewed.
Organized. You juggle multiple accounts, calendars, approvals and deadlines without losing sight of individual locations.
Sound judgment. You write persuasive patient-facing messaging within approved clinical claims and know when something needs clinical or compliance review.
What you bring
Demonstrated success building and improving B2C digital marketing campaigns.
Exceptional direct-response copywriting across ads, email, SMS and landing pages.
A strong understanding of consumer behavior and how to market services that require education and trust.
Ability to interpret campaign data, identify likely causes of underperformance and recommend practical improvements.
Experience personalizing campaigns across different locations, audiences and market conditions.
Strong project management skills, with experience running multiple campaigns and deadlines at once.
Availability to work in person in Boston.
There’s no minimum years of experience. We’ll evaluate candidates on demonstrated ability, portfolio quality, measurable results and a practical skills assessment.
Nice to have
Experience supporting enterprise, franchise or multi-location accounts.
Healthcare, wellness or patient acquisition marketing experience.
Hands-on paid social campaign management.
Familiarity with CRM platforms, automated email and SMS journeys, lead routing and reporting tools.
Experience coordinating campaigns across corporate stakeholders and individual location teams.
Graphic design, video editing or creative production skills.
