Job DescriptionJob Purpose:
The MDM Analyst will be responsible for cleansing master data of Material, Customer, Vendor, Finance, etc., based on the inputs from business stakeholders and Senior MDM Team members. This role will be involved in analyzing and executing the tasks as per agreed timelines without compromising on data quality.
This role will also maintain proper tracking mechanism and help in generating the stats on timely manner in order to keep the track the progress of the work being done.
Duties:
Data Analysis & Insights
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
- Perform data profiling, validation, and root cause analysis to support business decisions.
- Provide actionable recommendations based on data-driven insights.
- Support ad hoc analysis and reporting requests from business stakeholders.
Reporting & Visualization
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPI scorecards using BI and analytics tools.
- Monitor business performance metrics and highlight areas requiring attention.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of reporting deliverables.
Data Quality & Governance
- Support data quality monitoring and issue resolution activities.
- Collaborate with data governance and business teams to ensure adherence to data standards and policies.
- Assist in defining data quality rules, business definitions, and metadata documentation.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with business users and data teams to understand reporting and analytical requirements.
- Present findings and insights in a clear and meaningful manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support data-driven initiatives by providing analytical expertise and recommendations.
Master Data Management & Data Governance
- Partner with Data Governance, MDM, and business teams to define authoritative data sources.
- Ensure adherence to data governance policies, data quality standards, and compliance requirements.
Qualification:
Any Degree / Post-Graduation
Skills and Experience:
- 2-4 years of experience in enterprise-level data management, data engineering, data architecture, or related discipline
Technical Skills
- Data Analysis and Data Profiling
- Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
- Data Quality Analysis
- Reporting and Dashboard Development
