An AI Engineer independently designs and delivers production AI systems. This role owns the behavior and quality of AI applications, including agent architecture, orchestration, memory, model selection, evaluation, reliability, and operational tradeoffs. The role also contributes to building and scaling the AI and agent platforms that serve as a harness for non-AI engineers developing AI and agentic applications.
