Job Description

The Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) for Vascular Access Services (VAS) provides operational and clinical leadership for a specialized team focused on vascular access device insertion, management, and maintenance. The PCC partners with staff, providers, and nursing leaders to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered vascular access care across the organization.

A Day in the Life

  • Coordinate daily VAS operations, staffing, and patient assignments.
  • Support a team of vascular access nurses who provide specialized vascular access services throughout the hospital.
  • Collaborate with providers, nursing units, and interdisciplinary teams to support safe, efficient, and patient-centered care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient outcomes.
  • Coach and mentor staff through education and professional development.
  • Promote a culture of clinical excellence, patient-centered care, and collaboration.
Qualifications

What’s Required

  • Licensed RN in the State of Michigan 

  • Experience in [specific clinical area, e.g., Med/Surg, ICU, OB, etc.] preferred
