About Fundraise UpWe're Fundraise Up – a global fundraising platform built to make donating to nonprofits fast, seamless and accessible to all. Every month, our technology powers tens of millions of dollars in donations across the globe. Many of the world's leading nonprofits trust our platform, including UNICEF, the Alzheimer's Association and a wide range of global NGOs, and we hold a 4.9/5 rating across top software review platforms. We serve enterprise nonprofits across North America, the UK, Australia and Europe with a distributed team of 160+ product professionals. Our mission is to unlock the world's generosity potential by optimising how people give.
About the RoleNonprofits run their galas, auctions and ticketed events on a patchwork of disconnected tools. You'll turn that into one connected fundraising system.
You'll own Events & Commerce, the next direction for In-Person Giving after Tap to Donate and Giving Station. It covers ticket sales, check-in, on-site purchases, auctions, paddle raises and donations before and during events. This is a hands-on software product role that runs from discovery to launch and iteration. You'll have real ownership, direct access to Product leadership, and a large, proven category where customer demand is already clear. It is not an event-planning, sales or project-coordination role.
Key Responsibilities- Set the product thesis. Turn customer research, market evidence and business context into a sequenced Events & Commerce roadmap. Pick a focused target segment and event scenario instead of trying to replace every event platform at once.
- Make explicit platform decisions. Decide what Fundraise Up builds, integrates, partners on or leaves out. Decide which capabilities belong in the shared In-Person Giving foundation and which need an Events-specific model. Work with the In-Person Giving PM and the Peer-to-Peer team so shared capabilities are not rebuilt.
- Lead discovery at the source. Work directly with nonprofit fundraising teams, event operators, finance teams, volunteers, attendees, donors, design partners and GTM teams. Map the full workflow before, during and after an event.
- Separate signal from noise. Tell real adoption blockers apart from feature requests and habits carried over from incumbent platforms. Validate through interviews, workflow observation, prototypes and live usage.
- Own delivery end to end. Write clear requirements, acceptance criteria, edge cases, state transitions and decision records. Make day-to-day trade-offs with Engineering, Design, Analytics, Research, QA and GTM, and surface risks and dependencies early.
- Design for real event conditions. Account for staff and volunteer operators, self-service flows, mobile devices, optional hardware, unreliable connectivity, high-volume moments and operational recovery. Reuse existing payments, campaign, donor, reporting, CRM and identity infrastructure.
- Launch through early access programmes (EAPs). Set clear entry criteria, success measures and readiness requirements. Partner with Product Marketing, Sales, CSM, Support, Finance, Legal and Operations.
- Drive outcomes, not output. Tie product evidence to activation, adoption, event completion, GPV, expansion, pipeline, retention and operational cost. Turn it into clear recommendations: iterate, expand, change direction, partner or stop.
- Work AI-native. At Fundraise Up, AI is a default tool, not an experimental one. We expect every team member to use AI actively in their day-to-day work, spot where AI can change the shape of problems in their function, and grow their fluency as the tools evolve. Here that means research synthesis, workflow analysis, prototyping, better specifications, data exploration and automation, without handing product judgement to the tools.
- 4–7 years of Product Management or Product Ownership experience in a software product company
- End-to-end ownership of a customer-facing product area, working with Engineering and Design
- Strong judgement in cutting a large problem space down to a focused release, and explaining the trade-offs
- Experience turning customer evidence and product data into decisions
- Clear written communication across requirements, edge cases, metrics and decision records
- Comfort with transactional, multi-actor workflows involving permissions, states, money and data relationships
- High ownership and independence, with fluent written and spoken English
Nice to Have
- Ticketing, event tech, commerce, POS, payments, marketplaces, registration, auctions or other transaction-heavy products
- Mobile apps, contactless payments, physical devices or hardware-enabled workflows
- B2B SaaS, fundraising, nonprofits or other operationally complex environments
- Launching a new product area through beta or EAP
- CRM integrations, financial reconciliation, transaction attribution, analytics or SQL
- Want to help decide what gets built, not receive a finished roadmap
- Are as at home in specs, QA and post-launch iteration as you are in strategy
- Treat customer requests as evidence, not commitments
- Keep moving when scope is uncertain and the answer isn't obvious yet
- Say no clearly and explain why
- Would rather put a testable prototype in front of users than debate it for a week
- Measure yourself by customer and business outcomes, not features shipped
- Care that nonprofits engage more supporters and raise more money for their missions
- The compensation range for this role is GEL12,650 - GEL13,500 gross.
- Final compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, qualifications, alignment with the role’s requirements and location.
- Private medical insurance for the employee and their family
- 24 paid vacation days per year
- 18 paid public holidays per year
- English learning courses.
- Relevant professional education.
- Gym or swimming pool.
- Home Office Setup Assistance: the company offers assistance with purchasing furniture (office chair, office desk, monitor) and other items to create a comfortable workspace.
- Co-working.
- Remote working.
