The role

As Electricity Programme Coordinator, you’ll provide the programme, systems and administrative support that keeps Vector’s electricity portfolio running smoothly. Working right across our electricity business, you’ll maintain accurate programme data, coordinate various forums, administer project management tools, manage shared inboxes and help produce reliable reporting and decision-support information.

This is a data-heavy coordination role, where accuracy matters. You’ll work across multiple systems and information sources, validate and reconcile data, support document management and version control, and help around 60 internal users navigate the tools, templates and processes they need to deliver well.

This is a newly created role driven by growth in the electricity business. It offers broad exposure across Vector’s full electricity portfolio, close connection with operational delivery, programme governance and strategic planning teams, and a strong development pathway for someone looking to build deeper capability in programme, project or PMO environments.

Who are we looking for?

  • Experience in a project, programme, PMO or similar support environment, ideally supporting multiple workstreams, stakeholders and governance processes
  • Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP or XLOOKUP, and confidence comparing and reconciling large volumes of data from different sources
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate programme information, reporting outputs, documentation, templates and version-controlled records
  • Strong communication and customer-service skills, with the patience and judgement to support a broad group of internal users and work well with different teams and personalities
  • Confidence learning new systems and tools quickly; experience with Microsoft Project or similar project management systems, SAP, Power BI, SharePoint, document control or a utilities/infrastructure environment would be beneficial.
