We are looking for an experienced QA professional with strong expertise in manual testing, Flutter applications, and mobile/web quality assurance, capable of taking ownership of testing processes, identifying coverage gaps, and ensuring high-quality software releases.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on testing experience with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to establish reliable QA processes across iOS, Android, and Web environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the transition and takeover of QA activities, documentation, and test cases from an existing vendor team.

  • Design, maintain, and execute comprehensive manual test plans and test scenarios for Flutter applications.

  • Perform functional, regression, exploratory, usability, and end-to-end testing across iOS, Android, and Web.

  • Identify gaps in existing test coverage and implement improvements based on application risks and business priorities.

  • Conduct cross-browser and multi-device testing using physical devices, emulators, and simulators.

  • Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using issue-tracking tools such as Jira or Buganizer.

  • Provide detailed bug reports, including reproduction steps, logs, screenshots, and relevant technical information.

  • Collaborate with developers and UX designers to clarify requirements, define acceptance criteria, and validate functionality.

  • Establish standardized testing procedures, reusable test datasets, and structured regression suites.

  • Support release validation and ensure critical defects are identified before production deployments.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvements in QA processes.

  • Ensure testing activities remain aligned with development timelines and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance, primarily focused on mobile and web applications.

  • Hands-on experience performing manual testing of Flutter applications across iOS, Android, and Web.

  • Strong understanding of Flutter-specific behaviors, widget states, layouts, and platform differences.

  • Experience designing and executing test cases, test plans, and regression testing suites.

  • Strong experience with functional, exploratory, usability, and cross-platform testing.

  • Hands-on experience testing applications on physical iOS and Android devices.

  • Experience working with emulators, simulators, and multiple web browsers, including Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge.

  • Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman, Bruno, or curl.

  • Experience using mobile debugging tools such as Android Studio, Xcode, or Flutter DevTools.

  • Familiarity with browser developer tools and debugging consoles.

  • Experience managing defects through tools such as Jira, Buganizer, or similar platforms.

  • Experience taking ownership of QA activities in existing projects, including legacy environments or vendor transitions.

  • Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, SDLC, STLC, and shift-left testing practices.

  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong technical communication and documentation skills.

  • Availability to work 100% onsite in Guadalajara, Mexico, five days per week.

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of accessibility testing (a11y) standards.

  • Familiarity with internationalization (i18n) testing.

  • Basic understanding of Dart to support debugging and root-cause analysis.

  • Experience improving QA processes and test coverage in complex software environments.

  • Familiarity with risk-based testing strategies and release quality metrics.

About the Position:

  • Location: Mexico, Guadalajara.

  • Work Model: 100% Onsite.

  • Engagement Type: Contractor.

  • Contract Duration: 12 months.

  • Opportunity to work on international cloud security and AI-driven cybersecurity initiatives.

  • Collaboration with senior engineers, architects, and distributed technical teams.
