Job Description

This role will be based in Berlin or Munich, Germany.

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team. 

As a member of our Talent Solutions sales team, you will be a part of an experienced group of sales professionals who are bringing LinkedIn’s Talent Solutions products (Talent and Learning) to market. In this sales role, you will have full-cycle responsibility for driving new business but also maintaining an existing book of client relationships. This role focuses on delivering value to DACH Academics & Higher Education clients in our Mid-Market Segment.

Our team operates like a start-up, so we are looking for candidates with entrepreneurial DNA. You can handle ambiguity and improvise new processes when needed. You are solutions oriented and have a growth mindset. This role will provide the opportunity to put your own stamp on this territory. Experience implementing a ‘Go To Market’ strategy for public sector in this region would position the ideal candidate up for success.     

Responsibilities:  

  • Manage new and existing customer relationships for revenue and build up relationship growth both over the phone, MS Teams and in-person meetings       
  • Close New Business, renewal and add-on deals consistently at or above quota level      
  • Maintain prospecting activity to build a healthy pipeline and increase revenue/market share       
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for the territory and provide reliable forecasts       
  • Act as a brand evangelist to improve awareness & understanding of LinkedIn Talent  Solutions for public sector   
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional sales partners
  • Be advanced in territory and account planning and forecasting  
  • Use best practices when using CRM and other sales tools in order to manage the sales and buyer cycles  

 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:     

  • 5+ years of sales experience 
  • Business fluency in English and German 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • 4+ years of closing sales experience  
  • Experience with recruiting, recruitment media, Employer Branding and HR software     
  • Experience with SaaS opportunities, Sales Navigator and Dynamics CRM platform     
  • Experience selling IT, e-learning or recruiting solutions 
  • Experience using AI Tools to streamline workflows and sales processes
  • Knowledge of software contract terms and conditions with the ability to create fair transactions     
  • Strong prospecting, negotiation and accurate forecasting skills     
  • Demonstrated ability to find, manage and close high-level business in an evangelist sales environment     
  • Ability to assess business opportunities and use data and AI to inform decision making and persuade others     
  • Ability to manage a large number of prospect situations simultaneously while positioning company products against direct and indirect competitors   
  • Interest in Public Sector
