The Problem

Our hardware footprint continues to expand across communities, driving increased demand for reliable physical builds that power our public safety technology. High-volume assembly and shipping operations require consistent execution to ensure field operations teams receive high-quality finished goods on schedule. As an Assembly Technician, you will own the daily assembly, quality auditing, and logistics workflows that keep critical solar hardware ready for deployment.

What You'll Own

  • Assemble and build solar panels and critical hardware components according to technical guidelines and safety standards.

  • Perform quality assurance audits and component testing on finished goods to ensure products meet exact quality standards before shipment.

  • Prepare, package, and package finished products into boxes, crates, and cartons for afternoon distribution and internal logistics support.

  • Scan, log, and maintain accurate records of inventory, parts, and completed builds within internal tracking systems.

  • Operate hand tools, power tools, pallet jacks, and occasional warehouse equipment safely to support receiving, material handling, and trash management.

  • Maintain an organized, clean work environment while supporting cycle counts on critical assembly supplies.

What This Role is Not

  • This isn't an assembly-line-only role, your day rotates between hands-on production, quality checking, inventory logging, and packaging tasks.

  • This isn't a heavy machinery operation position, you'll use basic hand tools, power tools, and pallet jacks rather than heavy manufacturing equipment.

  • This isn't a desk job, you will be on-site Monday through Friday actively handling hardware, lifting up to 40 lbs, and executing physical warehouse tasks.

What You Bring

  • Prior experience in warehousing, material assembly, manufacturing, or a related production environment.

  • Proficiency operating hand tools, power tools, and basic warehouse equipment like pallet jacks.

  • Familiarity with computer software including Microsoft Word and Google Sheets, with Salesforce experience considered a plus.

  • Strong physical stamina, manual dexterity, and the ability to bend and lift up to 40 lbs regularly.

  • High attention to detail with proven reliability, punctuality, and a strong quality-first mindset.

  • Candidates from a wide range of backgrounds are considered, no specific degree or industry-specific background is required.

Location

This position is fully on-site in our Atlanta, GA warehouse (Monday through Friday).

Compensation

In this role, you'll receive a starting hourly rate between $20 and $24 as well as Flock Stock Options. Base salary is determined by job-related experience, education/training, as well as market indicators. Your recruiter will discuss this in depth with you during our first chat.
