ProSidian seeks a Contractor Assurance Specialist (CAS I) | Contractor Assurance Specialist (CAS) for Program Support on a SCA – Service Contract Act / Service Contract Labor Standards (SCLS) Basis for Working On-Site (Client Site) in The Southeast | South Atlantic | CONUS Area (Aiken, South Carolina) Contract Contingent, generally located across the Aiken, South Carolina Across The Southeast | South Atlantic | CONUS Region supporting a High-hazard nuclear cleanup environment requiring disciplined staffing, safety, quality, security, and regulatory compliance.

We seek Contractor Assurance Specialist (CAS I) candidates with relevant Nuclear And Environmental Management Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Nuclear And Environmental Management Sector Clients such as SRMC. This as a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Contractor Assurance Specialist (CAS) Functional Area / Swim Lane / Category Discipline Professional - ProSidian Strategic Resourcing and Professional Staff Augmentation for Contractor Assurance Specialist (CAS) Solutions and Services Position; however, ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

Provide services and support as a Contractor Assurance Specialist (CAS I) [ProSidian Strategic Resourcing and Professional Staff Augmentation for Contractor Assurance Specialist (CAS) Solutions and Services] aligned with the Contractor Assurance Specialist (CAS) Functional Area / Swim Lane / Category Discipline in the Nuclear And Environmental Management Industry Sector. 

This role focusses on Human Capital | Project Management | Engineering | Environmental | Compliance | Risk Management | IT Effectiveness | Business Process | Training Knowledge Management Solutions for clients such as Savannah River Mission Completion, LLC (SRMC) | SRMC Supply Chain / Procurement supporting the Liquid Waste Program under DOE prime contract 89303322DEM000068 Generally Located In Aiken, South Carolina and across the Southeast | South Atlantic | CONUS Region (Of Country/World) Working On-Site (Client Site).

Provide Contractor Assurance Specialist (CAS) Services and Solutions as a ProSidian Engagement Team Member working in a capacity that Supports contractor assurance activities through planning, analysis, coordination, documentation, compliance, quality assurance, and stakeholder support..  Strengthen mission assurance by turning assessments, causes, corrective actions, lessons learned, and performance trends into improvement.

Safety is a primary responsibility in each job performed. Obtain safety training, obey safety rules, and make safety an integral part of each task. Take necessary steps to stop work if continuing the activity is unsafe or will create and unsafe condition.

  •   Executes with guidance as assigned Contractor Assurance System (CAS) for environment, safety and health, quality assurance, integrated safety management; safeguards and security; cyber security; and emergency management are adequately monitored, and effective.
  •  Develops expertise in at least one of the following elements: Requirements Flowdown and Procedure Implementation, Assessment Activities, Causal Analysis and Corrective Actions, Lessons Learned, Employee Engineering agement, and/or Trending and Performance Measures.
  •  Supports ensuring compliance by researching solutions to ineffective or noncompliance situations.
  •  Reviews Contractor Assurance processes to verify they are integrated with the company Enterprise Risk Management processes.
  •  Learns company level policies and procedures that align with DOE Orders/Directives to develop skills to ensure compliance and clarity.
  •  Supports trend analysis and improvement actions in CAS or Performance related programs.
  •  Develops skills to evaluate improvements for the effectiveness metrics to allow enhanced oversight of related functions.
  •  Becomes familiar with the organization’s corrective action and causal analysis program elements.
  •  Assists in monitoring improvement plans that are underway to enhance the effectiveness of requirements that flow down to site and organization procedures.
  •  Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and less than 2 years of experience in an analytical position or role like the responsibilities of this position (e.g., Corrective Action, Issue Management, Operational Analysis, Statistical Analysis) 

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

  •  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and less than 2 years of experience in an analytical position or role like the responsibilities of this position (e.g., Corrective Action, Issue Management, Operational Analysis, Statistical Analysis) OR;
  •  High School Diploma/GED and 4+ years combination of education and/or experience in an analytical role comparable to the responsibilities of this position (e.g., Corrective Action, Issue Management, Operational Analysis, Statistical Analysis)
  •  US Citizen
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and less than 2 years of experience in an analytical position or role like the responsibilities of this position (e.g., Corrective Action, Issue Management, Operational Analysis, Statistical Analysis)
