Job Description

As a Supply Planning SME, you will help define, govern and evolve global supply-planning standards. You will combine deep planning expertise with digital and continuous-improvement capability to build resilient, data-driven planning practices across a complex global network. The role partners closely with regional teams, manufacturing sites and cross-functional stakeholders to turn improvement opportunities into scalable ways of working.

Accountabilities

  • Define and maintain global supply-planning principles, policies, standard operating procedures and performance measures.
  • Drive consistent adoption of planning standards, data discipline and KPI governance across regions and sites.
  • Lead the integration of advanced planning capabilities, automation and AI-enabled solutions into planning processes.
  • Partner with regional experts, business process leads and operational teams to implement global planning and IBP initiatives.
  • Build planning capability through training, knowledge management, communities of practice and practical continuous-improvement methods.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations, Business or another relevant quantitative discipline.
  • Five or more years of relevant experience in supply planning, supply operations or end-to-end supply chain roles.
  • Strong practical knowledge of S&OP and/or Integrated Business Planning, including demand–supply balancing and scenario planning.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA or comparable ERP systems and advanced planning solutions such as SAP IBP, APO or equivalent platforms.
  • Understanding of end-to-end supply chain dynamics, from production and material availability through to customer delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional matrix environment and influence stakeholders at different organisational levels.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex planning topics clearly in English.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in Crop Protection, Seeds or another complex, regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Experience delivering planning transformation, process automation, analytics or AI-enabled planning initiatives.
  • Practical application of Lean or continuous-improvement tools, such as A3, 5 Whys, root-cause analysis and cost-benefit analysis.
  • APICS CPIM, CSCP or a comparable supply-chain certification.
  • Additional language capability that supports collaboration across global regions.
