Job Description

The Credit Card Program Implementation/Project Manager serves as an embedded strategic and execution partner supporting an issuer’s consumer card business initiatives. Working closely with issuer stakeholders, this individual helps execute the end-to-end launch of the card program.

The role acts as a connector across business, credit, marketing, operations, technology, analytics, risk, compliance, and vendor teams to ensure initiatives move efficiently from recommendation to implementation. The individual will help identify dependencies, coordinate stakeholders, track progress, resolve obstacles, and support change management efforts associated with credit card launch initiative.

Success in this role requires strong program management skills, credit card industry knowledge, stakeholder management, and the ability to navigate complex organizations while driving alignment and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

 Build execution roadmap

  • Work with subject matter experts to develop a card implementation roadmap that identify dependencies, risks, resource needs, and critical decision points across both the team and within the issuer’s environment.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Coordinate and execute the implementation of the card program from within the issuer’s environment, coordinating closely with the appropriate stakeholders/teams
  • Ensure alignment around objectives, timelines, deliverables, ownership, and key decisions.

Change Management & Organizational Readiness

  • Support coordination of communication plans and stakeholder engagement activities to promote accountability and visibility throughout execution efforts.
  • Identify adoption challenges and implementation risks.
  • Help business teams prepare for process, policy, operational, or technology changes.

Vendor & Partner Coordination

  • Coordinate activities among internal teams and third-party partners as needed.
  • Track action items, dependencies, deliverables, and implementation progress.
  • Escalate issues and risks when appropriate and support resolution efforts.
Qualifications

    Experience

    • 5-10 years of experience in credit cards, consumer lending, banking, financial services consulting, program management, product management, portfolio management, operations, or business strategy.
    • Experience supporting implementation of card launches and complex cross-functional initiatives
    • Experience working with multiple stakeholders in highly matrixed environments.

    • Strong project and program management capabilities.

    Additional Information

    This role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

    The starting pay range for this role is $70/ph - $80/ph. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on several factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, certifications, training, and location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range, and determining factors for compensation are considered for each individual circumstance.
