Role:

The Workplace Operations Associate will ensure our manufacturing and workplace spaces are organized, functional, and ready for daily use. In this hands-on role, you will coordinate maintenance requests, support service providers, and respond to facility needs across production areas, the machine shop, inventory space, and offices. You will work with teams across the company to resolve issues promptly and help improve facility processes as we scale into full production.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to facility requests, troubleshoot routine issues, and coordinate repairs or escalate needs to the appropriate internal team or service provider.

  • Support daily operations across production lines, the machine shop, inventory areas, and office space, helping minimize disruptions to work.

  • Track preventive maintenance, inspections, work orders, and facility records to help keep the site operating reliably.

  • Coordinate on-site vendors and contractors, including scheduling visits, arranging access, and following up on completed work.

  • Help maintain organized, functional shared spaces and support changes to layouts, equipment placement, and employee work areas.

  • Identify recurring issues and suggest improvements to facility processes, service schedules, and the employee workplace experience.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in facilities, workplace operations, property operations, or a related role.

  • Experience coordinating maintenance requests, service providers, or day-to-day operations in a busy facility.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, including the ability to track multiple requests through completion.

  • Clear communication skills and a practical, service-oriented approach to working with employees, vendors, and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, laboratory, or other equipment-intensive environment.

  • Familiarity with building systems, preventive maintenance, or facility work order software.

  • Experience supporting a growing team or a facility with both production and office space.

  • Experience coordinating space changes, equipment installations, or facility improvement projects.
