Job DescriptionAt Syngenta, our goal is to build the most collaborative and trustworthy team in agriculture, providing top-quality seeds and innovative crop protection solutions that improve farmers' success. To support this mission, Syngenta’s Customer Ops Manager Sur is seeking a Customer Operations & Master Data Specialist in Vicente López, Buenos Aires. This role will support with own and deliver reliable customer operations execution and customer master data management across LATAM South. The role ensures that customer orders, customer records and operational information are processed accurately, on time and in line with applicable policies, controls and service-level agreements. Acting as a bridge between Commercial, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, IT and customers, the role improves service delivery, strengthens data governance and turns operational data into actionable insights.
Accountabilities
- Create, maintain and update customer master records in SAP, Salesforce and other approved systems, including legal entity details, billing and shipping addresses, tax identification, payment terms and relevant commercial attributes.
- Validate incoming requests for completeness, accuracy, consistency, required documentation and approvals before execution, in accordance with local requirements and global data standards.
- Manage customer orders end-to-end in SAP, ensuring accurate processing, timely delivery, invoicing support and SLA compliance.
- Monitor backlog, availability and deliveries, proactively coordinating solutions with Commercial, Planning and Logistics.
- Resolve operational issues, discrepancies, returns, complaints and escalations through effective stakeholder communication.
- Contribute to operational reviews, issue resolution and continuous improvement initiatives across the region.
Required
- Advanced student or graduate in Business Administration, Agribusiness, Economics, Information Systems, Supply Chain or a related discipline.
- Experience in customer operations, customer service, order management, master data administration or a comparable operational role.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical judgement and ability to manage multiple requests and changing priorities.
- Clear written and verbal communication in Spanish and English; ability to work effectively across a multicultural, cross-functional environment.
- Customer-first mindset, personal ownership, sound problem solving and confidence to challenge poor-quality inputs constructively.
Desired
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
- Experience in master data governance, customer onboarding or order-to-cash processes across multiple countries.
- Lean, Six Sigma, process excellence or project-management training.
- Knowledge of tax, invoicing or customer data requirements in Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay.
- Portuguese language capability
