We’re looking for a payments leader to join our CFO team and take ownership of our payment orchestration gateway. You’ll manage payment performance, ensure accurate reconciliation, and lead a team of treasury accountants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage payment routing, cascading and retry logic, and respond to provider incidents.
  • Improve approval rates while monitoring conversion, payment costs, declines, chargebacks and fraud.
  • Support the CFO with provider strategy, market analysis and negotiations with banks and payment partners.
  • Work with Product and Engineering on provider integrations, checkout improvements and antifraud rules.
  • Oversee reconciliation, disputes and refunds, and prepare reports and forecasts for management.
  • Ensure compliance with provider, regulatory and card scheme requirements.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of payments experience in iGaming, PSPs, acquiring, fintech or crypto services, including 1–2 years in a lead or management role.
  • Hands-on experience with payment orchestration platforms, gateways, routing and provider onboarding.
  • Knowledge of card payments, local payment methods, settlement flows and the chargeback cycle.
  • Experience with provider APIs, payment data analysis and transaction unit economics.
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills and experience with BI tools.
  • An understanding of reconciliation, treasury processes, KYC/AML and PCI DSS requirements.
  • Russian at B2 level or above; English at B2 level or above would be an advantage.
  • Experience launching payments in new markets, working with antifraud systems or crypto payments
