Job Description

Ready to turn every check-in into an unforgettable moment? As an Assistant Front Office Manager, you will champion our dynamic team by leading with dedication, driving guest satisfaction, and ensuring seamless departmental operations.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Host the Show: Supervise daily shift operations to guarantee a smooth guest journey.
  • Drive Guest Satisfaction: Resolve guest feedback with empathy and care.
  • Lead by Example: Model high service standards directly at the reception desk.
  • Departmental Operations: Assist with scheduling, reporting, and administration.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, Reservations, F&B and maintenance to ensure room readiness.
  • Step Up: Lead the department during the Rooms Division Manager absence.

 

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: 3–5 years in hotel Front Office with 2 years minimum in a supervisory role.
  • Mindset: Proactive, stress-resistant, and service-oriented.
  • Skills: Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and motivational capabilities.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Flexibility: Available for rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Systems: Familiarity with hotel PMS software like Opera.
  • Leadership abilities: Exposure to supervising and motivating a team of front desk staff.
  • Problem-solving skills: Identifying and resolving issues that arise at the front desk.
  • Staff training: Experience of training and development of front desk staff.
  • Knowledge of front desk operations: Understanding of check-in/check-out procedures, reservation management, and guest billing.
