We are looking for a Data Architect with strong experience to be part of our team. In this position, you will lead technically and design data solutions, working closely with teams in North America and Brazil.  Working from our CI&T office in Campinas 3x a week is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead technically the team and enable a multidisciplinary team of data engineers to build, enhance, and maintain data products
  • Work on a variety of projects, for different clients, in different subject matter domains.
  • Participate in design and architecture discussions.
  • Collaborate with strategy, customer experience, product and non-technical program management teams.
  • Ensure that solutions are following security and performance best practices.
  • Communicate with customer’s team members and align technical solutions.
  • Understand requirements and make viable technical solutions choosing appropriate frameworks.
  • Guarantee a stable and productive development environment since its foundation
  • Participate is data assessment and complex data modernization engagements
  Requirements:
  • Advanced English, comfortable explaining technical solutions in conversation.
  • Solid experience in architecture design and technical leadership
  • Solid experience designing, developing and deploying pipelines, data-lakes, data meshes and other data products
  • Solid experience with AWS
  • Solid experience on Databricks
  • Experience in data pipeline orchestration tools such as Microsoft Data Factory, Apache Airflow or similar
  • Knowledge of Data Governance principles (PII)
  • Experience with Data Quality frameworks like GreatExpectations, DQX or similar
  • Ability to create proof of concepts and coding complex mechanisms
  • Experience on scaling data workloads
  • Familiarity with AI engagements and Agentic coding
Nice to have
  • Solid experience on understanding, questioning, prioritizing and translating business problems into data solutions 
  • Databricks Certification
  • Experience with complex data modernization engagements
  • Experience with consultative data assessments
  • Experience with CI/CD
  • Experience on presenting data solutions and demonstrating technical capabilities for non technical audiences
