Job Description
  • Delivers excellent customer service in a client-facing environment.
  • Collects, receives, handles, and disposes of samples.
  • Performs testing of pharmaceutical utilities, including air, gas, and water.
  • Records sampling and testing activities accurately and reports quality anomalies.
  • Calibrates instruments or verifies calibration before use.
  • Uses sterile gowning and aseptic techniques in cleanroom environments.
  • Maintains laboratory supplies and performs routine laboratory housekeeping.
  • Investigates quality deviations and implements measures to prevent recurrence.
  • Communicates findings and recommendations during group meetings.
  • Participates in or leads cross-functional teams to support client needs.
  • Reviews and revises controlled documents, including batch records, logbooks, and SOPs, in accordance with cGMP requirements.
  • Assists with method validation, as needed.
  • Complies with applicable regulatory and cGMP requirements.

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Leads direct reports, group leaders, and their teams in laboratory or manufacturing environments.
  • Trains employees and coordinates required training activities.
  • Documents training and supports onboarding for GMP-related responsibilities.
  • Communicates administrative and organizational updates.
  • Promotes the company’s vision, values, and expectations.
  • Plans workloads and allocates resources to maximize productivity.
  • Monitors team performance against quality and productivity metrics.
  • Develops and implements team-building and employee engagement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, or other science related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
  • 2+ years of GMP experience
  • 5+ years of industry leadership experience
  • ISO 8 cleanroom experience preferred
Additional Information

Position is full-time, 1st Shift, Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer, NY are encouraged to apply. Pay is between $36.00 - $40.00/hr and determined based on experience.
