Job Description
  • Lead, coach, and develop the AQP1 team to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Define resource requirements and effectively distribute new and ongoing projects among team members.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Support team competency development through training, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Monitor and analyze key quality performance indicators, including:
    • Cost of Poor Quality (CT)
    • First Pass Yield (FPY)
    • Scrap Rate
  • Identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure timely reporting and communication of quality performance results.
  • Conduct process analyses during intermediate production phases to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Perform detailed investigations and root cause analyses on:
    • KM0 parts
    • Warranty returns
    • Customer complaints and quality issues
  • Lead continuous improvement actions using quality methodologies and problem-solving tools.
  • Manage and maintain quality documentation, including:
    • Quality circles
    • Action plans
    • Analysis reports
    • Corrective and preventive action records
  • Ensure rigorous follow-up and closure of action plans.
  • Prepare and present quality performance reports to management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous leadership or team management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems, process control, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with quality performance indicators (FPY, Scrap, PPM, COPQ, etc.).
  • Proficiency in problem-solving methodologies such as:
    • 8D
    • 5 Why
    • Ishikawa
    • PDCA
    • FMEA
  • Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and quality reporting tools.
  • Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
