Responsibilities

Develop and manage the company’s internal innovation programme, including the design of idea submission, assessment, selection and pilot implementation processes.
Lead innovation campaigns, conducting information sessions and coordinating with designated focal points to increase employee participation and idea generation.
Manage the end-to-end evaluation of innovation submissions, including initial screening, coordination of expert assessments, prioritisation and development of shortlisted ideas into structured pilot proposals.
Identify business challenges and translate them into innovation opportunities and potential solution areas.
Conduct market and technology scanning to identify emerging technologies, innovative business models and solutions
Establish and maintain a structured pipeline of innovation opportunities and potential pilot projects.
Prepare business cases, evaluation reports, pilot proposals and management presentations for shortlisted innovation initiatives.
Monitor the progress, outcomes and business impact of innovation pilots and provide recommendations regarding continuation, scaling or discontinuation.
Maintain awareness of global innovation trends, emerging technologies, startup ecosystems and relevant industry developments, translating relevant insights into actionable opportunities.
Contribute to developing the innovation culture by promoting employee engagement, knowledge sharing and collaboration across subsidiaries and business units.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Technology, Innovation Management or a related field. A Master’s degree is an advantage.
Minimum 5–7 years of relevant professional experience in innovation, business development, strategy, technology or a related field.
Proven experience in designing and implementing corporate innovation programmes, idea management initiatives or similar innovation frameworks.
Strong understanding of emerging technologies, innovation trends and corporate innovation practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex business and technology-related opportunities.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with proven ability to work effectively with senior management, business units
Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and coordinate multiple stakeholders throughout the innovation lifecycle.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple innovation initiatives and deliverables simultaneously.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel; experience with innovation and analytical tools is an advantage.
Excellent English and Azerbaijani communication skills.
