Job Description

The Wedding Coordinator supports the Wedding Salon by responding to inquiries, assisting guests, coordinating appointments and administrative details, and supporting Wedding Managers with ceremony planning and execution.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls, provide information about venues and packages, and respond to basic guest questions.
  • Greet all walk-in guests and offer assistance.
  • Respond to lead inquiries daily and, when required by department policy, forward them to management.
  • Assist Wedding Managers with planning and execution of wedding ceremonies.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Open and close Wedding Salons.
  • Obtain bank from satellite cage, if applicable.
  • Close transactions in Symphony and return bank and receipts to satellite cage.
  • Ensure Wedding Salons are clean and presentable.
  • Conduct tours of the Wedding Salons.
  • Accept wedding gowns and accessories for steaming and/or storage.
  • Create leads in Delphi for wedding inquiries and send preliminary information to all leads.
  • Coordinate transportation, room reservations, and Wedding Salon appointments.
  • Generate contracts and credit card payment portals, and process payments.
  • Confirm all guest appointments.
  • Set up pre-wedding décor.
  • Assist Wedding Managers with ceremony preparation and execution.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by the Assistant Manager or Manager, completing each task promptly and accurately.
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in guest service, hospitality, or sales is preferred.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must obtain and maintain a valid Alcohol Awareness Card, Health Card, and any additional licenses or work cards required now or in the future for this position.
