Job Description

About the Team

Our team oversees end-to-end order management and accounts receivable processes for leading UK-based vehicle manufacturers supplied by Bosch with a wide range of automotive components.

We handle commercial workflows, operational data and recurring business routines daily. We are eager to innovate, eliminate manual friction, and adopt cutting-edge digital and AI tools to make our operations faster, smarter, and more seamless.

About the Role

Are you passionate about artificial intelligence, modern digital tools, and finding smart ways to automate repetitive workflows? Do you love taking a real-world problem and figuring out the best solution to solve it?

We are looking for a curious, proactive, and tech-savvy Business Digitalisation & AI Automation Intern to join our team.

The dynamic is simple and exciting: the team brings the business ideas, process bottlenecks, and operational goals—and you explore, prototype, and implement the automation and AI tools that bring those ideas to life. You will work hand-in-hand with colleagues across the team to translate day-to-day challenges into automated, streamlined, and scalable digital workflows.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate & Brainstorm: Partner closely with team members to understand existing business processes, pain points, and strategic priorities.
  • Research & Recommend Solutions: Identify the best automation platforms, AI tools, or low-code/no-code solutions to address specific operational needs.
  • Design & Implement: Build, test, and deploy automated workflows, data integrations, and smart toolsets (e.g., document parsing, automated reporting, communication flows, AI assistants).
  • Clarify Modern Tech: Show the team how new tools work, provide quick walk-throughs, and gather feedback to continuously refine implementations.
  • Drive Measurable Impact: Help quantify time saved, process reliability improved, and business agility gained through your solutions.

Who You Are

  • Curious & Experimenter Mindset: You stay on top of the latest developments in generative AI, automation platforms, and digital productivity tools. You enjoy testing new tools and figuring out what works best.
  • Hands-on & Resourceful: When presented with a business challenge, you have a pro-active, resolution finding mindset.
  • Collaborative Communicator: You enjoy working alongside non-technical colleagues, listening to their needs, and explaining digital concepts in clear, practical terms.
  • Relevant Academic or Practical Background: Currently enrolled in (or recently graduated from) a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Analytics, Engineering, Business Administration with a digital focus, or equivalent self-taught project experience.
Qualifications

Studying an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence or a similar degree.

You have knowledge and keen interest on the following:

  • Automation & Workflow Tools: Power Automate or similar workflow automation platforms.
  • Modern AI Tooling: Practical experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, custom GPTs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) concepts, or AI APIs
  • Productivity & Collaboration Suites: Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Lists, Power Apps, Teams)
  • Scripting / Data (Bonus): Basic programming or scripting skills (e.g., Python, JavaScript) or data manipulation skills (SQL, Excel/Power Query).

The role will be mainly aimed at automating / improving current processes from a technical point of view, and improving usage of AI tools by the team.
